CORE PURPOSE OF JOB |
In line with the Department of Higher Education and Training's New Generation Academic Programme (nGAP) and the Faculty of ARTS vision of advancing the revitalization of the humanities. The department of Philosophy seeks to appoint a self- motivated, aspiring Philosophy academic to contribute to the teaching and research responsibilities of the department. This lecturer post will be made in accordance with the university recruitment policy and DHET transformation imperatives. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute meaningfully to the broader academic project of the department particularly in advancing scholarship and teaching in the areas of the philosophy of technology, philosophy of Artificial intelligence (AI) and ethics of AI. |
