Essentials for the role:
Suitable candidates must be recent graduates with the qualifications in BSc Agriculture or Agricultural Economics or Agri Business management who have a passion for Agri Commodity trading
Fully Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
SAFEX exams (preferred but not essential)
Little or no work experience necessary for this role but the suitable candidate MUST be
- A quick thinker and learner and have the ability to function under pressure and think on his/her feet.
- Excellent at making and forging relationships with clients and customers and have a strong personality.
- Able to analyse Excel spreadsheets and have excellent numerical ability
- Hard working and prepared to get involved in all aspects of the job including trading, admin and execution and capturing daily positions and trade confirmations, monitoring and creating contracts etc

The role involves working directly under the Chief Commercial Manager of this local company and learning about the overall buying and selling of all protein products ranging from the buying of the seed to selling of soya meal and other edible oils.
