About the Role

As a Millwright, you will be responsible for maintaining production equipment within a manufacturing environment, ensuring maximum equipment availability and supporting efficient production operations.

This role is ideally suited to a hands-on technical professional who enjoys fault-finding, preventative maintenance, and solving mechanical and electrical challenges.

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

✅ Performing breakdown maintenance on production equipment

✅ Carrying out preventative maintenance activities

✅ Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults

✅ Maintaining and troubleshooting production machinery

✅ Supporting reliable and efficient plant operation

✅ Working closely with production operators to resolve equipment issues

✅ Maintaining high safety standards while carrying out maintenance activities

✅ Contributing to equipment reliability and operational performance

We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have:

✔ Qualified Trade Tested Millwright

✔ Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience

✔ Manufacturing or production plant experience

✔ Proven breakdown maintenance experience

✔ Proven preventative maintenance experience

✔ Strong fault-finding ability

✔ Hands-on experience with production machinery

✔ Strong safety awareness

✔ Ability to communicate effectively with production operators

✔ Stable employment history

✔ Genuine interest in remaining in a hands-on technical position

✔ Experience working a 2-Shift System

✔ ATEX environment experience

✔ PVC/plastics manufacturing

✔ Building-product manufacturing

✔ Standby/on-call maintenance experience

✔ SAP/maintenance-system experience

Candidate Requirements

• South African citizen

• Qualified Trade Tested Millwright

• Valid passport or willingness to obtain one

• Willing and able to relocate to Belgium

• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
