O'Brien Recruitment is currently seeking qualified and experienced Artisans for temporary opportunities with one of our leading clients in the FMCG/manufacturing industry, based in Newlands, Cape Town.
We are looking for candidates in the following trades:
- Mechanical Artisans
- Electrical Artisans
- Instrumentation Artisans
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Relevant Trade Test Certificate (Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Must have a clear criminal record
- Must be available to start immediately
- Must be willing and able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required
- Strong fault-finding, maintenance and troubleshooting skills
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
- Identify, diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical or instrumentation faults.
- Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Assist with repairs, installations and general maintenance.
- Adhere to all health and safety standards and procedures.
