Job Summary
Our client has an EE position available for a Senior HR Officer based in Johannesburg.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of SAP, Sage EE and Skills modules.
- Understand the business language.
- Build trust and credibility when managing relationships.
- Good working knowledge of HR disciplines.
- Proven previous project management skills.
- Sound knowledge on various labour legislation and IR processes in South Africa.
- BCom in HR Management or B degree in Industrial Psychology.
- 6+ years of work experience in an unionized environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate any HR or People events and interventions when required.
- Maintain all HR systems, SAP, Aspire, Success Factors etc.
- Design, plan, consult and implement HR systems, policies, procedures and best practices to strengthen HR functions.
- Maintain in depth knowledge of MEA countries labour and other statutory requirements related to employee management.
- Responsible for handing the disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Partner with, coach and counsel managers and employees on how to manage and resolve country employee relation issues.
- Responsible for EE management and ensure diversity transformation takes place.
- Update statistics and reporting for MERSETA and BBBEE monthly and submit before the deadlines.
- Capture the annual training needs analysis by using performance assessment in consultation with management.
- Ensure all vacancies are approved as per EMEA requirement approval process.
- Coordinate psychometric assessments.
- Advertise staff vacancies, assess applications, interview candidates and make recommendations to management about staff appointments.
- Ensure BBBEE compliance certificates are obtained annually.
- Monitor and report on progress against transformation and sustainability plans.
- Ensure all employee records are processed electronically.
- Ensure all global HR projects are managed from a project plan basis and complete compliance is achieved.
This is a 5 to 6 month contract.
