Job Summary
Our client has an opportunity available for a Franchise Consultant based in Benoni.
Requirements:
- 5+ years Sales or Customer Relations experience.
- Matric with a Business degree or diploma or equivalent business experience.
- Exposure to franchise concepts and operations.
- Ability to read, analyse and interpret general business periodicals and technical procedures.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts and the ability to apply concepts of algebra and geometry.
Responsibilities:
- Visit each franchise operation on a regular basis.
- Advise franchises on all areas of marketing within the region.
- Provide training on all aspect of the business operations.
- Review revenue reports and ensure performance criteria is adhered to.
- Assist franchisees to analyze and interpret financial statements.
- Check correct equipment is being utilized in the franchised business and advise on the correct use of equipment and training.
- Ensure that the franchisee retains the minimum stock levels required by Head Office.
- Ensure that approved suppliers are used for product procurement.
- Advise on stock planning to achieve maximum sales and performance criteria.
- Advise the franchisees on staffing requirements in terms of number of staff per job function, qualifications and experience required and training of staff.
- Be aware of competitive activity in all franchised territories.
- Encourage and provide on-the-job training where necessary.
- Seek opportunities to grow network through franchise expansion.
- Provide information on all important activities in the area pertaining to politics, regional economics, crime statistics and more.
