Job Summary
The Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
Degree in Accounting or Finance OR relevant Accounting Certification
Microsoft Navision (advantageous)
Payday Payroll system
Microsoft Excel
The role includes recording financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, supporting payroll processing, and assisting the Financial Manager with day-to-day finance operations.
Manufacturing environment experience is critical.
Payroll experience on Payday is mandatory.
Office-based role – no remote option.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and capture all transactions
- Process and reconcile financial transactions and general ledger entries
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports
- Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, and debtor reconciliations
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Process payroll using Payday payroll system
- Ensure VAT and tax compliance
- Assist with audits and provide financial documentation
- Support the Financial Manager and HR Manage
