A well-established business is seeking an experienced Operations & Process Manager to support the Directors in overseeing day-to-day business operations, driving accountability across departments and ensuring operational processes run efficiently.
The successful candidate will work closely with departmental supervisors and management to monitor performance, improve workflows, implement processes and ensure departmental KPIs are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
Departmental Oversight
• Support and guide department supervisors across Sales, Administration, Stock Control, Order Processing, Dispatch and Customer Service
• Monitor departmental performance and KPI achievement
• Drive accountability and ensure operational objectives are met
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between departments
Process & Systems Management
• Review and improve operational workflows
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Identify inefficiencies and implement practical solutions
• Support process automation and system improvements
Stock Control & Operational Support
• Monitor inventory accuracy and stock availability
• Oversee stock control procedures and reporting
• Support re-order management and stock planning
• Assist with improving operational efficiencies across departments
Customer Service & Order Fulfilment
• Monitor order processing and dispatch performance
• Ensure customer communication standards are maintained
• Assist with resolving operational and customer service challenges
• Support continuous improvement of the customer journey
Performance Management
• Monitor departmental KPIs and reporting
• Assist with staff development and training initiatives
• Conduct performance reviews where required
• Support management in achieving business objectives
Requirements:
• Previous experience in an Operations, Branch Management, Office Management, Warehouse Management or Supervisory role
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Experience managing processes and operational workflows
• Ability to analyse performance metrics and identify improvements
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient computer skills
• Hands-on approach with the ability to lead and motivate teams
