Job Summary
We are a specialist company focused on the design, manufacturing, and installation of exhibition stands and turnkey shop fit-outs. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman with strong SolidWorks experience to join our dynamic team. ABOUT THE ROLE You will be responsible for creating accurate 3D models, technical drawings, shop drawings, and documentation for exhibition stands and shop fit-out projects using SolidWorks. You will work closely with design, production, and installation teams to ensure drawings are practical, accurate, and ready for manufacturing and site installation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Create detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings using SolidWorks. • Prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and installation drawings. • Develop accurate bills of materials, cut lists, and part lists. • Interpret design concepts and convert them into practical production-ready drawings. • Liaise with design, production, and installation teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility. • Update drawings and models based on client feedback, site measurements, and project changes. • Ensure all drawings and documentation are issued on time and in line with project requirements. • Maintain an organized drawing structure and revision control system. REQUIREMENTS • Proven experience as a Draughtsman using SolidWorks. • Strong 3D modelling and 2D drawing skills. • Experience in exhibition stands, shop fit-outs, cabinetry, custom joinery, or related manufacturing environments will be advantageous. • Good understanding of materials, fabrication, and installation methods. • Ability to read and prepare technical and manufacturing drawings. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Good communication and teamwork skills.
