An established, high-volume supply chain operation is seeking a commercially astute Management Accountant to take full ownership of the financial and management accounting function across its Inland depots. This role is deeply embedded within operations and requires a professional who can translate financial data into practical insights that enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and improve profitability.
Working closely with Regional Financial and Operations leadership, you will play a key role in shaping regional strategy, aligning financial performance with operational capacity, and ensuring strong governance across multiple sites. This is a high-visibility position that demands analytical strength, commercial awareness, and the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.

What You’ll Do
Lead the full financial and management accounting function for Inland depots
Prepare and present consolidated monthly financial reports with detailed commentary and variance analysis
Drive cost control, asset management, and capital expenditure governance
Ensure the integrity of balance sheet accounts, accruals, journals, and intercompany transactions
Oversee compliance with procurement, levels of authority, and internal control standards
Manage budgeting and forecasting cycles across depots, ensuring alignment with national timelines
Strengthen stock control processes and minimise losses through cross-functional collaboration
Partner with operations to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
Lead, coach, and develop Admin Controllers and regional finance support teams
Support audits and ensure clean audit outcomes with no recurring findings
What You Bring
BCom, BCompt or CIMA qualification
5 to 10 years’ commercial and financial accounting experience
Proven management experience within a multi-site operational environment
Exposure to logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations
Strong SAP and BW experience highly advantageous
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capability
Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into strategic insight
Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage senior management
High attention to detail and strong governance mindset
