Our client, a privately owned safari lodge and wildlife estate in Thabazimbi, Limpopo, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Farm Manager to oversee estate operations, technical infrastructure, staff supervision and grounds maintenance. This role is ideal for a practical all-rounder with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, who thrives in a rural, hospitality-driven environment. Description: The Farm Manager will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the estate’s farm and grounds, ensuring that all infrastructure, equipment and outdoor areas are well maintained and operational. This includes managing irrigation systems, pumps, generators, vehicles, fencing and general mechanical and electrical systems. You will oversee and manage farm and grounds staff, allocating daily tasks, supervising work quality, and ensuring productivity and safety standards are maintained. A key part of the role is being proactive in identifying maintenance needs, resolving technical issues efficiently, and supporting the wider lodge operation where required. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong problem-solving skills, technical competence and the ability to work independently in a safari lodge environment. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to ensure the estate is always guest-ready and operationally sound. Salary on offer: R25,000 including Accommodation. Accommodation and work-related vehicle support may form part of the package. Requirements: Proven experience in farm, estate or lodge management Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge (essential) Experience supervising and managing staff teams Practical problem-solving and maintenance skills Good communication and organisational ability Valid driver’s licence Comfortable working in a rural safari environment
