Head Waiter | Wine Farm | Stellenbosch, Western Cape
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and service-driven Head Waiter for a prestigious wine farm in Stellenbosch.
The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing daily restaurant service, leading the waitstaff team and ensuring guests receive an exceptional dining experience within a luxury hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant service and ensure smooth floor operations.

Lead, supervise and support the waitstaff team.

Allocate sections and responsibilities to ensure efficient service.

Ensure excellent guest relations and attend to guest requests.

Maintain high standards of service, presentation and professionalism.

Assist with staff training and development.

Ensure the restaurant is correctly set up before and after service.

Liaise with the kitchen and management teams to ensure seamless operations.

Handle guest feedback and resolve service-related issues professionally.
Requirements
-
Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Senior Waiter or in a similar supervisory role.

Experience in a luxury hotel, restaurant or wine estate environment would be advantageous.

Excellent food and beverage knowledge.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

A passion for hospitality, food and wine.

Excellent guest service and interpersonal abilities.

Professional presentation and a hands-on approach.

Ability to work under pressure and maintain high service standards.
