Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and professional Hotel Duty Manager for a prestigious wine farm in Stellenbosch.
The successful candidate will assist with the daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth service delivery, excellent guest experiences and consistently high hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure all departments function efficiently.

Act as the point of contact for guests and handle any queries or complaints professionally.

Supervise front-of-house operations and support departmental teams.

Ensure high standards of guest service, presentation and hospitality.

Coordinate with housekeeping, food and beverage and maintenance departments.

Monitor staff performance and assist with training and development.

Conduct operational checks and ensure the property is maintained to the required standard.

Assist with guest arrivals, departures and special requests.

Address operational challenges promptly and report to senior management.
Requirements
-
Previous experience in a Duty Manager or Assistant Hotel Manager position.

Experience within a luxury hotel, wine estate or boutique hospitality environment would be advantageous.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Excellent guest relations and problem-solving abilities.

Good organisational and administrative skills.

Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.

Professional presentation and a hands-on approach.
