We are seeking a professional; detail-oriented and guest-focused Reservationist who understands the art of luxury service and has a passion for creating seamless guest journeys from the very first enquiry to arrival. Key Responsibilities Manage reservations, enquiries, calls and emails with professionalism and efficiency. Process bookings accurately, maintain guest records and ensure all confirmations, rates, deposits and special requests are correct. Deliver exceptional service to guests, travel agents and industry partners. Maximise revenue through effective upselling and knowledge of room categories, rates and promotions. Liaise closely with Reservations, Sales, Front Office and Operations to ensure a seamless guest experience. Monitor arrivals, provisional bookings and occupancy while adhering to reservation policies and procedures. What We’re Looking For Matric (Grade 12); a hospitality, travel or tourism qualification is advantageous. Ideally 2–3 years’ reservations experience, preferably within a 5-star or luxury hospitality environment. Experience with PMS systems and online travel agency (OTA) platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous. Strong sales ability, exceptional attention to detail and outstanding organisational skills. A genuine passion for guest service, a professional telephone manner and the ability to thrive under pressure. Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
