? ?? ??????????? ??????????? is currently partnering with one of Zambia’s leading luxury lodge groups to recruit an experienced, conservation-led professional for the position of ???????? & ???????????? ?????????? ?????? ????: Only candidates with prior guiding, conservation, or ecological qualifications and excellent public-speaking skills will be considered. Must be legally eligible to work in South Africa and able to travel regularly to Zambia This multifaceted position will be in Zambia and will require regular travel to the Lower Zambezi and South Luangwa National Parks. It calls for a confident and articulate individual who is passionate about conservation, highly knowledgeable about African ecosystems, and able to connect authentically with a broad audience — from international trade and media to conservation partners and high-end guests. This individual will represent the reserve’s brand values with authenticity, embodying its conservation mission and commitment to immersive guest experiences across every aspect. It is a unique role for someone who lives and breathes conservation with charisma and equally comfortable navigating the wilderness and engaging on the global stage. ???????????? Master’s degree (or higher) in Conservation Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field 8+ years of experience in conservation, guiding, ecological research, or wildlife management Strong working knowledge of African ecosystems and conservation challenges Excellent public speaking, interpersonal, and writing skills Proficiency in data analysis, GIS tools, and reporting platforms like EarthRanger Fluent English required, Afrikaans and Shangaan advantageous Professional presence and ability to connect across cultures and sectors Valid driver’s license; firearm competency a plus Previous experience engaging with trade, NGOs, or media highly beneficial ??? ???????????????? Representing the brand at international trade shows, conservation events, and media functions Delivering talks, presentations, and guest engagement activities at the lodges Facilitating conservation learning journeys for VIP guests and partners Assisting in content creation, including editorial pieces and conservation updates Collaborating with local and international partners to promote biodiversity efforts Acting as a liaison between operational teams, conservation NGOs, and key tourism stakeholders
