The successful candidate will support the Executive Chef in delivering outstanding dining experiences while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, kitchen operations and team development. ### ? PACKAGE & BENEFITS ? Salary: R30,000 – R35,000 per month (DOE) ? Employer provident fund ? Performance-based incentive/bonus (subject to company policy) ?️ Meals provided whilst on duty ? Annual leave in accordance with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and company policy ? Ongoing training and professional development opportunities ### ?? KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ? Support the Executive Chef with the day-to-day management of kitchen operations ? Supervise, coach and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff ✨ Maintain exceptional food quality, consistency, presentation and portion control ? Manage stock receiving, inventory control, ordering and supplier quality standards ? Assist with menu planning and recipe development ? Ensure compliance with food safety legislation, HACCP principles, SOPs and health and safety requirements ? Maintain operational records and standard operating procedures ? Promote a positive and professional working environment ? Maintain strict confidentiality regarding guests and operations ### ✅ MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ? Recognised culinary qualification ?? Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef, Sous Chef or similar leadership role within luxury hospitality, boutique lodges, private clubs, fine dining or high-end restaurant environments ? Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills ❤️ Passion for fine dining and exceptional culinary standards ⚡ Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment ? Excellent stock control and administration skills ? Sound understanding of food safety, HACCP and occupational health and safety requirements ? Valid South African driver's licence (own transport advantageous) ? Willingness to live and work near the Kruger National Park ? Stable employment history with contactable references ### ?
