Candidate Requirements To qualify for this Maintenance Technician role in Hammanskraal, candidates must have: Prior maintenance experience (hospitality or lodge environment preferred) Strong technical skills in electrical work, plumbing, and general repairs Ability to work independently ; follow schedules, and manage priorities Strong problem‑solving ability and physical fitness High level of reliability, organisation, and safety awareness Valid driver’s licence (advantageous) A professional, positive, and proactive attitude Key Responsibilities Your daily responsibilities as a Maintenance Technician will include: Performing general building repairs and infrastructure maintenance Conducting electrical and plumbing maintenance and minor installations Troubleshooting technical faults and implementing practical solutions Carrying out preventative maintenance across all lodge facilities Maintaining gardens, outdoor areas, pathways, and equipment Assisting with groundskeeping ; pool maintenance, and basic mechanical tasks Responding quickly to maintenance requests from management and staff Ensuring compliance with lodge safety procedures and operational standards Package Salary: Based on experience & qualifications Work Cycle: 5 days on, 2 days off Accommodation: Live‑out Additional: Uniform provided
