Pest Control Officer

Location: East London, Eastern Cape Employment Type: Permanent Salary: R10,000 CTC per month, possibly slightly negotiable

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Pest Control Officer to join their East London branch. This is an urgent vacancy requiring a qualified professional with a valid Pest Control Operator (P Number) registration.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Pest Control Operator (P Number) registration.

• Valid Code B driver's licence.

• Previous experience in the pest control industry.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage daily schedules.

• Physically fit and able to work in various environments.

• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pest control services in accordance with company standards and industry regulations.

• Complete service tickets accurately and within required timeframes.

• Manage and scan the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) system.

• Maintain and update client site files on a monthly basis.

• Complete daily treatment reports and submit all documentation to the office.

• Maintain accurate paperwork and administrative records.

• Carry out ad hoc pest control services, including:

  • Fumigation

  • Blanket spraying

  • Termite treatments

  • Wasp nest removal

  • Other specialised pest control treatments

• Ensure company vehicles, equipment and chemicals are maintained and cared for.

• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental standards.

• Deliver professional, high-quality service to clients.
