Requirements To be considered for this Assistant Camp Manager position, candidates must have: Previous lodge ; hospitality ; or guest‑facing experience Excellent communication and customer‑service skills Ability to multitask and work effectively in a remote lodge environment Bar experience (cocktail knowledge highly advantageous) Professional; well‑presented, guest‑focused approach Driver’s licence beneficial but not required Ability to work long hours, especially during peak tourism seasons Honest; reliable, and comfortable working in a bush and wildlife setting Duties As the Assistant Camp Manager, you will support overall lodge operations and uphold high guest service standards. Duties include: Assisting the Camp Manager with day‑to‑day lodge operations Hosting guests: welcoming, engaging, and ensuring an exceptional lodge experience Managing front‑of‑house operations including check‑ins, reservations, and guest relations Bartending responsibilities such as beverage service, stock control, and maintaining bar presentation Supporting the dining and housekeeping teams as needed Coordinating staff and overseeing operations during the manager’s absence Maintaining high levels of cleanliness, service, and guest satisfaction This role requires a hands‑on, proactive individual who enjoys contributing to a seamless and welcoming guest environment.
