Job Specification: UI/UX Designer (Intermediate–Senior)

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer (Intermediate to Senior level) to join a dynamic team. This role reports directly to the Director, offering high visibility and the opportunity to significantly influence product design and user experience.

The ideal candidate will be strong in UI design, with solid UX capability and a strong command of Figma to produce modern, intuitive, and visually compelling digital experiences.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design clean, modern, and responsive user interfaces for web and/or mobile applications
  
• Translate business requirements and user needs into intuitive UI/UX solutions
  
• Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma
  
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries
  
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
  
• Ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints and platforms
  
• Contribute to improving overall user experience through usability-focused design thinking
  
• Present design concepts and rationale directly to senior stakeholders (including Director level)
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–7+ years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design
  
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality UI design work
  
• Advanced proficiency in Figma (mandatory)
  
• Strong visual design skills including layout, typography, colour, and spacing
  
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows
  
• Understanding of UX principles and usability best practices
  
• Experience working with development teams in an agile environment
  
• Ability to take ownership of work and operate independently
  

Nice-to-Have

• Experience building or contributing to design systems
  
• Exposure to SaaS, fintech, e-commerce, or enterprise applications
  
• Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS)
  
• Experience conducting or participating in user research or usability testing
  
• Familiarity with tools such as FigJam, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
