Job Summary
A well-established, busy Dental Practice in Kempton Park is seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional HPCSA-Registered Dental Assistant to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Dental Assistant who enjoys working in a busy practice, providing exceptional patient care, and assisting in a wide range of dental procedures.
Minimum Requirements
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a private dental practice.
Relevant Dental Assisting qualification.
Active HPCSA registration
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance with a patient-centred approach.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Computer literacy; experience with dental practice management software will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures.
Assisting the dentist during treatments.
Keeping the workspace clean and organised.
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms before and after patient appointments.
Clean, sterilise, and maintain dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols.
Assist with stock control and the ordering of dental materials when required.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Deliver exceptional patient care while contributing to the efficient day-to-day operation of the practice.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday: 07h00 – 18h00 & Every 2nd Saturday: 07h00 – 13h00
Remuneration: Negotiable (based on experience)
