About the RoleAs a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for recruiting, educating, and onboarding new accounting partners through the inbound lead funnel. Working closely with the Account Executive and Territory Management teams, you will engage prospective partners, drive participation in training and certification programs, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
You will play a key role in growing the partner ecosystem while maintaining high-quality CRM data and supporting broader sales growth initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruit and onboard new accounting and bookkeeping partners
Educate prospective partners on platform benefits and partner opportunities
Manage inbound leads through the sales funnel
Conduct high-volume outbound and follow-up calls to prospective partners
Schedule and facilitate meetings with prospective accounting practices
Support partner growth and early-stage engagement activities
Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity tracking
Drive attendance at webinars, training sessions, certification events, and partner forums
Collaborate with Territory Account Managers and Account Executives to maximise partner success
Manage pipeline activities and ensure timely follow-up on opportunities
Achieve monthly sales activity and partner acquisition targets
Build strong relationships with accounting professionals and industry stakeholders
What You'll BringPrevious experience in sales development, business development, inside sales, or lead generation
Strong telephonic sales and relationship-building skills
Consultative sales approach with the ability to uncover client needs
Ability to manage high call volumes while maintaining quality interactions
Strong communication and presentation skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Comfortable working towards activity and conversion targets
Interest in SaaS, FinTech, and accounting technology solutions
Strong attention to detail and CRM discipline
Nice to HaveExperience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
Experience within SaaS, FinTech, or technology sales environments
Knowledge of accounting practices or bookkeeping businesses
Experience selling to professional services firms
Familiarity with Google Workspace tools
