Role Overview: An exciting opportunity for an experienced and hands-on Senior Camp Manager to lead the operations of a prestigious luxury safari camp in the Sabi Sands. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining world-class operational standards, and overseeing the seamless day-to-day running of all camp departments within a luxury bush environment. ? Key Responsibilities: ? Camp Operations & Leadership • Oversee daily lodge operations across guest services, housekeeping, F&B, guiding, and maintenance • Ensure smooth coordination between all camp departments • Maintain exceptional operational standards across the property • Support efficient camp scheduling, occupancy management, and operational flow ? Team Leadership & Development • Lead, coach, and motivate camp staff across all departments • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and service excellence • Support recruitment, training, and ongoing staff development • Conduct performance management and team support initiatives ⭐ Guest Experience & Hospitality • Ensure world-class guest service and personalised hospitality experiences • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally • Maintain attention to detail across all guest touchpoints • Support safari and wildlife experiences in collaboration with guiding teams ? Financial & Resource Management • Monitor operational budgets and cost controls • Oversee stock management and resource allocation • Support financial reporting and operational efficiency initiatives • Ensure responsible use of camp resources and operational assets ?️ Health, Safety & Environmental Standards • Implement and maintain health, safety, and environmental protocols • Ensure compliance with operational and safety standards • Maintain high housekeeping and maintenance standards throughout camp • Support sustainability and conservation-focused lodge practices ? Safari Operations Support • Coordinate with guides and operational teams to maintain safari experience standards • Ensure smooth logistics around game drives and guest activities • Support the delivery of authentic, luxury safari experiences ? Requirements: • Minimum 5 years’ experience in luxury safari lodge or camp management • Proven leadership experience within remote hospitality operations • Strong operational, organisational, and financial management skills • Excellent guest service and interpersonal abilities • Knowledge of safari operations, guiding, and lodge logistics • Experience in staff training, management, and development • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced bush environment • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills • Valid driver’s licence essential ?
