Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Perform reserving calculations, including quarterly and annual reserving reviews
- Assist with regulatory and financial reporting under SAM and IFRS 17
- Support assumption setting, model development, and analysis of results
- Collaborate with pricing, capital, and finance teams on cross‑functional actuarial projects
Job Experience and Skills Required
Education- Minimum of 6 actuarial exams passed
- At least 3 years’ actuarial experience
- Proven experience in reserving
- Exposure to SAM and IFRS 17
- Insurance industry experience is advantageous
- Exposure to pricing and/or capital is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability
- Experience with actuarial and statistical tools (e.g. Excel; actuarial software advantageous)
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills
