Job Summary
Luxury Hospitality Group with offices based in Dar es Salaam and Arusha is looking for a Group Maintenance Manager. The suitable candidate will be the operational functionality, safety; and aesthetic upkeep of multiple lodge properties ; managing maintenance teams; budgets ; and preventative programs. The suitable candidate will ensure high-standard maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, generators and infrastructure. Frequent travel between properties required. Duties: Facilities Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive preventative and reactive maintenance schedules for all buildings, guest areas, staff accommodation, and grounds. Technical Expertise: Manage complex systems including solar power, generators, water treatment, sewage, refrigeration, and HVAC. Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance staff, contractors, and technicians. Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including conducting regular safety inspections. Budget & Procurement: Manage maintenance budgets, inventory of tools, and spare parts procurement. Operational Support: Collaborate with lodge managers to minimize guest disruptions and maintain high-quality guest experience. Requirements: Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering At least 8+ years’ experience in facilities or maintenance management, preferably within luxury lodges, resorts, or hotels. Experience with Sustainability (Solar/Off grid), desalination/water treatment and CAPEX planning Strong proficiency in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Proactive; analytical, and able to work under pressure in remote environments. Valid driver’s license
