Job Description: Barista The Barista is responsible for preparing high‑quality coffee and specialty beverages while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role includes operating coffee equipment, handling customer orders, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the café environment is welcoming and efficient. The Barista will work closely with the café team to uphold service standards, product quality, and hygiene requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty drinks to consistently high standards Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service Take customer orders and process payments accurately Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, equipment, and seating areas Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations Manage stock levels for coffee beans, milk, consumables, and supplies Assist in opening and closing procedures as required Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations Requirements Customer‑service experience (hospitality experience is an advantage) Ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills A positive attitude and willingness to learn Reliable; punctual, and well‑presented Basic numeracy skills for handling payments Ability to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks Previous barista or café experience Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards Barista training or certification
