Please Note – This position is Arusha based Our client is a dynamic travel company with a clear philosophy: one team, one booking, two worlds. Rooted in Tanzania and operating at the premium end of the international market, they deliver expertly coordinated safari, mountain, Zanzibar and luxury travel experiences to a discerning global audience of travel advisors, tour operators, DMCs and high-value trade partners. This is an exceptional opportunity for a commercially driven professional to take the senior revenue lead at a company where the product, culture and purpose are genuinely compelling. Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will own the full commercial mandate – developing and executing an international sales strategy across priority source markets and channels, building and managing a qualified pipeline, and activating the global trade network through key account management, foreign representation, trade shows, roadshows and FAM programmes. Working in close alignment with the Reservations & Sales Manager, this role carries direct accountability for new business acquisition, account growth, CRM performance and marketing direction, and also provides leadership to a Marketing Assistant. The commercial targets are real, the scope is broad, and the impact of the right person will be immediate. ???????????? · A minimum of 8 years’ senior sales experience within the luxury African travel, safari, high-end DMC or upmarket tour operations sector – experience at leadership level is essential. · An active, demonstrable and current international database of luxury travel advisors, tour operators and DMC contacts – this is non-negotiable and must be genuinely productive. · A proven track record of generating substantial revenue, opening new source markets and converting international trade relationships into confirmed, repeat bookings. · In-depth knowledge of international travel trade structures, foreign representation models, contracting, commission structures and distribution channels. · A confident and credible communicator with direct experience across trade shows, roadshows, sales missions, FAM trips and senior account management. · Strong commercial acumen, CRM discipline, pipeline forecasting and analytical ability; excellent written and spoken English; flexibility for regular international travel is essential to this role. · A relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous – however, proven network strength and a measurable commercial track record will carry the most weight. · A stable work history and contactable references ?????? – On application ➤ ?????? ???? – Although we appreciate all applications received, we will only reply to those candidates who have the background and experience required.
