Roles and Responsibilities
A growing technology solutions provider is looking for a Procurement Assistant Manager to support and improve procurement operations. The role will manage supplier relationships, oversee procurement activities, support team performance, and help the business achieve competitive pricing while maintaining strong governance and compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare, process, and maintain purchase orders in line with business requirements.
Manage supplier contracts, ensuring documentation is accurate, current, and properly stored.
Maintain accurate procurement data across relevant tools and systems.
Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, contract terms, and service agreements.
Support the Procure-to-Pay process, including creating, validating, and updating purchase orders.
Source and onboard new suppliers where required, ensuring correct procedures and documentation are followed.
Evaluate and select suppliers based on reliability, quality, cost, and business needs.
Manage and support procurement team members by providing guidance, allocating tasks, and monitoring performance.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain operations, and team supervision.
Experience managing suppliers and negotiating commercial terms.
Strong attention to detail, with excellent administrative and organisational skills.
Comfortable working with procurement systems and data management tools.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education
Relevant qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
