About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Platform Tech Lead to provide senior technical leadership across a large-scale intermediary digital platform environment. This role will drive technical strategy, architecture, engineering excellence, and delivery across multiple engineering teams.
The successful candidate will work closely with Product, Design, and senior business stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing platform solutions while fostering a strong engineering culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the platform technical strategy and roadmap.
- Lead architecture and technical decision-making across multiple teams.
- Ensure scalable, secure, and resilient platform solutions.
- Mentor and develop Tech Leads and senior engineers.
- Drive engineering standards, best practices, and operational excellence.
- Manage technical risks, dependencies, and delivery alignment.
- Partner with Product, Design, and business stakeholders on strategic initiatives.
- Lead large-scale platform modernisation and transformation initiatives.
- Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and engineering maturity.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 12–15+ years’ software engineering experience.
- Strong experience in senior technical leadership or engineering management roles.
- Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams or enterprise-scale technical domains.
- Strong architectural and systems design expertise.
- Experience driving technical strategy and large-scale platform delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Agile and modern engineering practices.
