Our client manages an exclusive portfolio of lodges across some of Kenya's most significant wildlife areas, combining high-end safari tourism with a serious commitment to long-term conservation. Operating across multiple properties, they have built a strong reputation for environmentally sound management and exceptional guest experiences. This is a senior leadership role for someone who brings both scientific rigour and on-the-ground operational capability. The successful candidate will provide hands-on environmental leadership overseeing habitat and wildlife management, driving conservation compliance, and ensuring that ecological considerations are embedded across all operations, infrastructure and land-use planning. The role spans strategic environmental guidance, practical habitat restoration, wildlife monitoring, government and community liaison, and consolidated environmental reporting across the full portfolio. ???????????? A relevant degree in Ecology, Wildlife Management, Conservation Biology, Environmental Science or a related field. Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior environmental, conservation management or wildlife management role, preferably within a multi-concession or protected area environment. Practical; hands-on experience in habitat management including bush clearing, invasive species control, fire management and restoration of degraded areas. Proven ability to manage and lead a technical conservation team, including performance management, work planning and budget oversight. Experience working with government institutions on management plans, compliance, Environmental Impact Assessments and regulatory reporting. Strong understanding of wildlife and ecosystem monitoring, population assessment and adaptive management practices. Ability to provide strategic environmental guidance to senior management on land-use planning, carrying capacity and sustainability. Comfortable managing road rehabilitation, water infrastructure and other ecological support infrastructure. Strong written reporting ability, able to consolidate environmental data and produce clear, accurate reports for management and regulatory bodies. Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between concessions.
