This exclusive interior designer studio and furniture showroom in the heart of Cape Town is a primary supplier to all major luxury and 5* hotel brands, award-winning game lodges, destination private villas, residences and island resorts globally. ProStaffSelect are in search of a SHOWROOM & BOUTIQUE HOUSE MANAGER to oversee the day-to-day operation of the showroom, ensuring exceptional client service, efficient administration, supplier coordination, product development support and project procurement assistance. REQUIREMENTS: Candidates with Hotel Front Office / Reception / Guest Focused type qualifications Experience within 5* luxury hotels in High Guest Contact positions / Game Lodges / Lodge Anchors etc would be preferred Well presented, organised and methodical worker Highly flexible, adaptable and calm individual who copes well with stress and thinks fast A candidate with a knowledge or appreciation for top end / extremely expensive one-of-a-kind / custom-made decor & furniture pieces A dependable & reliable individual who’s willing to commit to a long employment record and advance within the team. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Showroom Operations Open and close the showroom and maintain showroom presentation standards. Ensure products are correctly displayed, priced, labelled and maintained. Welcome and assist clients and visitors. Coordinate showroom displays, merchandising and seasonal updates. Manage and coordinate weekend showroom assistants. Sales & Administration Respond promptly to client enquiries. Prepare quotations, invoices and related sales documentation. Process and manage customer orders. Maintain accurate records of client communications, orders and transactions. Ensure the efficient day-to-day administration of the showroom operation. Production & Supplier Coordination Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers and logistics partners. Manage purchase orders, production schedules and delivery timelines. Conduct quality control reviews of products prior to delivery. Coordinate deliveries, collections, packaging and installations where required. Assist in resolving supplier, production and delivery-related matters. Product Development & Project Support Support the Directors in the development of new products and collections. Coordinate samples, finishes, prototypes and supplier communication. Assist HK Studio project teams with custom furniture development, procurement and logistics. Support sourcing, costing and supplier coordination for project-related products and furniture. Coordinate product photography, styling shoots and marketing-related imagery. Team Coordination & Client Experience Maintain exceptional standards of professionalism and client service. Build positive relationships with clients, suppliers and project teams. Support the Directors and wider team in achieving operational and project objectives. Assist in maintaining efficient communication and workflow across all showroom activities WORKING HOURS Normal working hours shall be Monday to Friday, 08h30 to 17h00.
