Job Summary
Hospitality Hire is recruiting a dynamic; creative and strategic Marketing Manager for a leading hospitality and lifestyle brand in Cape Town. This role is suited to a commercially minded marketer with strong hotel or lifestyle brand experience, who can lead brand strategy, digital marketing, content, PR and campaign execution to support business growth. Key Responsibilities Marketing & Brand Strategy Develop; implement and report on the annual marketing strategy and budget Set measurable marketing objectives aligned with revenue and business goals Analyse market trends, competitor activity and guest insights Develop reports and insights to support decision-making and campaign performance Conceptualise and execute creative campaigns that build brand awareness and engagement Digital Marketing & Online Presence Collaborate with internal digital resources on content and social media strategies Manage and oversee external agencies for website, SEO, SEM, Google Ads and digital campaigns Monitor online reputation management and assist with responses where required Track website traffic, direct bookings and digital performance metrics Content Creation & Brand Custodianship Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external touchpoints Develop and manage on-brand content across digital and print platforms Write marketing copy for campaigns, promotions, blogs and advertising material Oversee the creation of marketing collateral including brochures, menus, in-room items and trade material Maintain and update website and in-hotel digital content Advertising; PR & Partnerships Plan and manage advertising across print, digital and out-of-home platforms Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers and industry partners Manage press releases, media enquiries and brand communications Coordinate and host media and influencer stays Support crisis communication and reputation management when required Project & Event Management Coordinate marketing activity around local and international trade shows and events Manage marketing campaigns, events and partnerships Work closely with internal teams to support promotional and operational initiatives Minimum Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Marketing Manager or similar senior role Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications or a related field Hospitality; hotel or lifestyle brand experience is essential Strong understanding of guest experience-driven marketing Solid knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, Google Analytics and marketing tools Excellent copywriting, proofreading and communication skills Strong organisational, project management and time management abilities Strategic thinker with sound commercial awareness Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Reporting Line Reports directly to the Brand Director Works closely with Sales, Commercial and Hotel Operations teams
