Role Overview: A senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the full lodge operation, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, seamless departmental integration, and strong financial and team performance within an intimate luxury safari environment. ? Key Responsibilities: • Oversee all daily lodge operations across FOH, Housekeeping, F&B, and Maintenance • Lead, manage, and inspire a high-performing team • Ensure exceptional guest experiences and handle VIP hosting • Manage budgets, cost control, and financial performance • Maintain lodge standards, presentation, and operational excellence • Coordinate all departments to ensure seamless service delivery • Monitor stock control, procurement, and operational efficiency • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards • Utilise PMS and lodge systems for reservations, reporting, and operations ? Skills Required: • Strong leadership and team management ability • Excellent guest service and communication skills • Financial acumen including budgeting and cost control • Strategic thinking with hands-on operational focus • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability • High attention to detail and organisational discipline ? Requirements: • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a senior lodge or luxury hospitality management role • Strong understanding of all lodge departments • Computer literate (MS Office, PMS & POS systems) • Experience with systems such as ResRequest, Semper, or PANstrat advantageous • Fluent in English (additional languages advantageous) • Valid driver’s licence essential • Ability to work flexible hours and live on-site ?
