This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned hospitality professional to take full leadership of a remote, high-end property, overseeing every aspect of the guest experience, lodge operations, team development, sustainability initiatives, and financial performance. We are searching for a dynamic, hands-on leader with a genuine passion for luxury hospitality, conservation, community upliftment, and creating unforgettable guest experiences in one of Africa’s most remarkable safari destinations. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the lodge, ensuring exceptional standards across all departments while fostering a positive team culture and maintaining the lodge’s reputation for excellence. This role requires a highly capable and independent operator who is equally comfortable hosting discerning international guests, managing staff and finances, overseeing maintenance and logistics, and driving operational efficiencies in a remote environment. Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a luxury five-star lodge or similar high-end hospitality operation Strong operational, financial, and staff management experience Hospitality or Business Management qualification preferred Exceptional guest relations and hosting ability Strong leadership and communication skills Financially and administratively strong Excellent computer literacy Hands-on; proactive, and solutions-driven approach Warm; confident, and professional personality Well-presented; organised, and able to perform under pressure Passion for conservation, sustainability, and community development What’s On Offer Competitive salary package negotiable depending on experience Live-in accommodation The opportunity to lead an internationally recognised luxury safari property Exposure to high-level hospitality operations, sustainability projects, and conservation initiatives Long-term career growth within luxury hospitality
