NOW HIRING | CONSERVATION FACILITATOR / GUIDE
Live-In Position
A conservation organisation operating in the Hoedspruit area is seeking a passionate and dedicated Conservation Facilitator / Guide to join its team.
This is not a traditional safari guiding role. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about conservation, environmental education, youth development, and facilitating meaningful volunteer experiences in a remote wilderness environment.
Facilitate conservation activities including wildlife monitoring, bush clearing and erosion control
Lead and supervise volunteer groups
Deliver engaging environmental education sessions
Ensure participant safety and wellbeing
Assist with camp logistics and daily operations
Support conservation data collection and reporting
Uphold programme standards and values
Desirable:
Knowledge of local ecology and conservation practices
Practical bush or maintenance skills
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Valid PDP
Valid First Aid Certificate
Experience in guiding, conservation, or environmental education
Strong leadership and communication skills
Comfortable living and working in remote, rustic conditions
