? ?? ??????????? ??????????? is pleased to be working with an established premier large reserve in Limpopo to recruit an experienced and qualified ??????? ??????? ??????? / ?????? & PARTNER Our client is one of South Africa's most respected private Big 5 game reserves bordering the Greater Limpopo Transfrontier Conservation Area. Operating as a proudly established share block scheme with a multi-generational membership base, the reserve spans over 9,000 hectares across two contiguous properties and is widely regarded as setting the benchmark for private reserve excellence in the Lowveld. This is a live-in couple's role, with on-reserve housing provided. The Reserve General Manager/Warden will serve as the custodian of the reserve — leading all operational, ecological, financial, and governance functions, driving the conservation management plan, managing a multi-departmental team, engaging with the Board and broader reserve structures, and ensuring the reserve sustains its reputation as the premier share block in South Africa. Simultaneously; the partner will take on the position of Member Services and Facilities Manager, serving as the primary point of contact for the reserve's close-knit membership, overseeing front reception, housekeeping operations, the member shop, insurance administration, and the overall presentation and maintenance of shared member facilities. ???????????? – ??????? ??????? ???????/?????? · A relevant qualification in conservation, ecology, hospitality management, or business — or a compelling combination of equivalent experience across these disciplines. · A minimum of 5 years' experience in conservation management, with sound knowledge of fauna, flora, and landscape management in a Big 5 bushveld environment. · Demonstrable experience in a senior management or leadership role within a game reserve, lodge, or share block environment. · Solid financial acumen, including the preparation and management of annual operating budgets, capex planning, monthly management accounts, and cost controls. · Working knowledge of the Protected Areas Act and relevant compliance frameworks including GLTFCA, NEMPA, and NEEMA. · Experience with or willingness to engage actively in anti-poaching and security operations management. · Proven ability to build credible, diplomatic relationships with boards, shareholders, members, and community stakeholders. · Strong administrative, reporting, and communication capabilities — including regular newsletters, member communications, and board-level reporting. · Advanced weapons handling certification and/or Professional Hunter qualification advantageous. · Computer literate with experience in social media management and website oversight. · Labour relations experience, including disciplinary procedures and applicable labour law. · Self-motivated; unflappable, hands-on, and solution-driven — with the personal presence and integrity to represent the reserve at the highest level. · Contactable references essential. ???????????? – ??????? | ?????? ???????? / ?????????? ??????? · A background in hospitality, guest services, front office management, or a related member-facing service environment. · Strong interpersonal skills and a natural service orientation — this role is the face of the reserve to a loyal and engaged membership community. · Experience managing housekeeping teams and maintaining high presentation standards across shared facilities. · Comfortable with administrative duties including booking systems, job cards, stock management, petty cash, and data capture. · Advanced Microsoft Excel skills advantageous — required for monthly shop and fuel stock takes, inventory reconciliation, and reporting. · Experience with insurance administration or willingness to manage member insurance renewals, claims, and communications. · A proactive, "surprise and delight" approach to member service — capable of managing expectations diplomatically and resolving issues efficiently. · Organised; detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple competing priorities across reception, housekeeping, shop, and member liaison functions. · Comfortable working and living in a remote, wildlife environment. · Contactable references essential. ??????
