Job Description & Requirements Overall responsibility for guest and staff food standards. Implement and maintain kitchen standards across all operations. Conduct regular visits to staff kitchens and canteen facilities. Train; mentor, and develop chefs and culinary trainees. Manage departmental administration, staff files, scheduling, and hygiene standards. Design seasonal menus based on guest preferences and available produce. Ensure food presentation aligns with luxury lodge standards. Elevate the overall culinary offering and guest dining experience. Oversee stock control, ordering procedures, and stock rotation. Ensure proactive maintenance of all kitchen equipment. Maintain effective communication with chefs, management, and suppliers. Inspect all food before service to guests. Engage with guests and obtain feedback on dining experiences. Manage special dietary requirements for guests and staff. Collaborate with culinary specialists to share knowledge and ideas. Promote discipline, fairness, and professionalism within the department. Formal culinary qualification required. Minimum 2 years' management experience, preferably within a 5-star operation. Strong leadership, creativity, and team management skills. Computer literacy and knowledge of hospitality operations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
