Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dynamic Camp Chef / Guide couple for a luxury safari camp located in the Kalahari. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional couple passionate about hospitality, guiding, and life in a remote wilderness environment.
Camp Chef – Key Responsibilities
Prepare high-quality, fresh meals in line with luxury safari standards
Plan menus, manage stock, and control kitchen costs
Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety
Cater for dietary requirements and special guest requests
Work collaboratively with the lodge team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Guide – Key Responsibilities
Conduct professional game drives and guided activities
Deliver informative and engaging interpretations of wildlife, ecology, and the environment
Ensure guest safety and uphold guiding best practices
Maintain guiding equipment and vehicles
Contribute positively to the overall guest experience and camp operations
Requirements
Proven experience as a camp chef within a lodge or safari environment
Relevant guiding qualifications and valid PDP (where applicable)
Strong guest focus and professional presentation
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Positive attitude, flexibility, and strong teamwork as a couple
