Mokopane Parts Manager
Are you an experienced, energetic, and target-driven leader who knows how to drive profit margins and optimize stock levels? A well-established leader in the automotive sector is seeking a strategic Parts Manager to lead their busy parts department.
Taking full accountability for the financial performance, operational structures, and inventory metrics of the parts division, you will manage and mentor the counter and telesales parts consultants to ensure volume targets are smashed while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
What’s on Offer?
Salary: R25,000.00 – R30,000.00 Gross PM (Negotiable based on experience) + Commission (10% of Department Net Profit)
Status: Full-Time, Permanent following a successful 3-month probation period

Benefits: 50% Medical Aid contribution (capped at R9,260.50) + Compulsory Gap Cover (R199.00 PM)

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Profitability: Manage the parts sales team to achieve maximum gross profit targets, drive proactive sales, and establish growth strategies.
Team Management: Coordinate daily schedules and direct performance management for all counter and telesales parts consultants.
Operational Oversight: Oversee stock and inventory management, ensuring optimal stock turn, minimal aging stock, and strict alignment with franchise standards.
Customer Retention: Cultivate a customer-centric environment to build long-term relationships and maintain high customer retention levels.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications (Non-Negotiable):
Essential Experience: Minimum of 3 years of stable experience acting specifically in a Parts Manager role within a franchised automotive dealership context.
Licensing: A valid and unendorsed South African driver's license is strictly required.
Skills & Systems: Strong communication, negotiation, and structural planning abilities. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with dealership management software are required.
Attributes: Proven ability to work exceptionally well under pressure and remain fiercely target-driven.
Track Record: Must be able to supply contactable references from previous employers for verification.
