Retail Sales Manager – Meat Retail Store required for a reputable company based in East London
We are seeking an experienced Retail Sales Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a busy retail meat store. Previous meat industry experience is not essential; however, candidates must have a strong retail management background and a proven ability to drive sales, manage staff, and deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Manage daily store operations and ensure smooth running of the business.
Lead, motivate, and develop the sales and store team.
Drive sales growth and achieve store targets.
Ensure high levels of customer service and customer satisfaction.
Manage stock levels, merchandising, and product availability.
Monitor shrinkage, wastage, and stock control processes.
Handle staff scheduling, performance management, and training.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety, and food handling standards.
Prepare reports and provide feedback on store performance.
Minimum Requirements:
3–5 years' experience in a retail management role.
Proven experience managing staff and achieving sales targets.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with stock control, cash management, and reporting.
Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
Preferred:
Experience in FMCG, food retail, supermarket, or high-volume retail environments.
Knowledge of inventory management and retail operational best practices.
