TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:
- Monday - Sunday
- Shifts - must be flexible to accommodate operational needs
REPORTS TO: Spa Manager / HR Manager / CEO
SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:
- Visa / Permit provided by company (if eligible for employment)
- €2,270 - €2,500 Basic Salary per month (Based on experience) | Salary is paid in EUROS
- 100% public holiday allowance
- 13th & 14th monthly salary - paid pro-rata

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- German native (first language) / fluent 2nd language (C1) | Speak, Read & Write
- Confident in English language (Speak, Read & Write) | B2 - C1 Level
- Any other European language is beneficial
- Beautifully groomed & professionally presentable
- ITEC certified in Spa, Beauty or Cosmetology
- Spa Management certification / training - BONUS
- At least FIVE + years in a senior therapist / assistant manager / spa supervisor role of a Cruise Ship Spa / Resort Spa or 5-star Hotel
- Computer literate with booking systems, emails and reports
- Cruise Ship / Resort employment experience is highly favourable
- Confidently assist the manager with the day to day operations of the Spa
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Assistant Spa Manager serves as the operational link between the Spa Manager, team, and guests.
This role combines technical excellence as a therapist with an active leadership presence, ensuring:

The role supports the Spa Manager in all operational matters, guides the team in line with the company’s service philosophy, and continuously develops standards, procedures, and offerings.
The Assistant Spa Manager is:
- Visible and present on the floor
- Guest- and team-focused
- Not office-bound
- Responsible for operational stability and continuous quality improvement
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Management & Service Quality
- Co-responsibility for the entire spa and wellness operation
- Daily coordination and workflow management
- Active participation as a therapist to maintain high treatment standards
- Acting Spa Manager in their absence (team leadership, quality assurance, guest care)
- Ensuring a warm, personalized, and solution-oriented guest experience
- Implementation, monitoring, and development of quality, hygiene, and service standards
Leadership & Team Development
- Training, coaching, and development of the spa and wellness team
- Ensuring technical excellence (treatment techniques, product knowledge, service standards)
- Supporting onboarding, training, and performance feedback
- Leading by example in guest and staff interactions
- Ensuring a high-quality guest experience
Stock & Inventory Management
- Supporting product management and availability
- Assisting with stock counts, inventory control, and reporting
- Careful handling of products, materials, and spa/gym equipment
Concept & Product Development
- Supporting development of treatments, rituals, spa menus, and offers
- Contributing ideas for improvement and innovation
- Monitoring spa and wellness trends
Communication & Coordination
- Collaboration with all operational departments
- Proactive identification of operational challenges and solutions
- Professional complaint handling and empathetic guest communication
- Ensuring smooth internal communication
DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES:
- Participation in meetings, training sessions, and quality audits
- Compliance with administrative requirements (documentation, checklists, etc.)
- Maintaining cleanliness and order in all spa/wellness areas
- Completing administrative tasks delegated by the Spa Manager
- Supporting events, special programs, and wellness initiatives
