As Planet Fitness continues its exciting growth trajectory, and this growth unlocks the need to place within the Digital Technology and Transformation Team, an App Support Agent/ Junior Developer. The focus of the App Support Agent/ Junior Developer would be to provide tech support on Planet Fitness’s App and develop systems, reporting on the CRM Platform.

Seniority and Reporting Structure

This role is an intermediate role, reporting into the Product Manager. The role will also have to partner closely with the App Development Team and Manager.

Work Break Down Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for the following job functions:

1. Planet Fitness App Support (60%)
1. Monitor and close Planet Fitness App Support queries
2. Report on close rates and support categories to the Digital and IT leadership team
3. Report on and drive recurring incidents to the App Developers and Development Manager to ensure tech-debt resolutions
4. Partner with the Contact Centre Agents to continuously upskill and share knowledge and solutions, for Planet Fitness App queries

2. CRM DevOps (15%)
1. Manage the QContact CRM platform by running daily system checks
2. Monitor uptime, integrations and stability of the CRM Platform
3. Manage user account administration and user rights on the CRM platform
4. Undertake quarterly user account clean-ups

3. CRM Feature Development (15%)
1. Continuously enhance the CRM platform by developing new features
2. Develop CRM automations by building “action-to-be-taken” dashboards and interfaces
3. Use the native CRM API’s to integrate custom “action-to-be-taken” interfaces and reporting
4. Build workflows, WhatsApp templates and custom code on the CRM Platform

4. Planet Fitness App Development (10%)
1. Partner with the App Development team to build CRM/App Integrations and workflows
2. Build small to medium features for the App
3. Manage and maintain CMS module of the App

Experience and Exposure

The following minimum experience and exposure is needed for this role:

• 2-3 years experience as part of a Development Bootcamp or Graduate Internship Program
• Development experience with any of the programs: Flutter; PHP; Python; Java; .Net;
• Exposure to CRM platforms and theory
• Working as part of Development team

Education

1. Degree or Diploma in Information Technology (Programming focus)
2. Grade 12
