Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a well-presented and professional Receptionist to join the front-of-house team at a luxury country inn in Mkuze, KwaZulu Natal. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational ability, and a guest-focused approach to ensure seamless service delivery in a refined hospitality environment.
Package & Benefits
Salary: R8,000 – R9,000 (Negotiable depending on experience)
Location: Mkuze, KwaZulu Natal
Live-out position (own transport and valid driver’s license required)
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and reservations
Handle guest enquiries both in person and telephonically with professionalism and efficiency
Manage front-of-house administration including filing, correspondence, and daily reports
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences
Maintain a professional reception area and uphold the property’s service standards
Support the team with guest service during busy periods and special events
Minimum Requirements
Previous experience in a Receptionist or front-of-house role within hospitality (luxury environment advantageous)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively
Professional presentation and guest-focused attitude
Computer literacy and familiarity with reservation systems preferred
