Job Summary
An experienced SAP Functional Consultant is required to support and enhance SAP-based solutions used within a global manufacturing and quality management environment. The role focuses on improving systems that support shop-floor operations, defect tracking, and root cause analysis for production and quality management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate activities between development and support environments
- Assist in the development of business cases
- Plan and monitor project activities
- Gather, analyse, and organise business requirements
- Translate complex requirements into clear functional specifications
- Document requirements according to the relevant methodology
- Develop system solutions aligned with quality and delivery standards
- Prepare system and technical documentation (ISO standards where applicable)
- Conduct meetings with end users to gather requirements
- Facilitate daily stand-up meetings and Agile ceremonies
Requirements
Essential Skills:
- Configuration of SAP QM (Quality Management) and SAP WM (Warehouse Management) modules
- Strong understanding of WM and QM processes in SAP
- Preparation of master data templates for QM-related objects
- Experience with integration testing across SAP modules
- Ability to create user manuals and deliver training to business stakeholders
Advantageous Skills:
- Advanced SAP QM module configuration
- Development documentation and system design documentation
- Analysis and troubleshooting of SAP QM module issues
- SAP process configuration and optimisation
- Maintenance of SAP functional documentation
- End-user authorisation role analysis and scoping
- Execution of unit testing, integration testing, and system security testing
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent relevant experience
- SAP WM/QM Certification preferred
- Proven experience working with SAP functional configuration and support
