Seeking a goal - driven, reliable, and customer - focused In - House IT
Engineer/Technician to join our operational team in Pietermaritzburg. This on - site role is central to

maintaining internal and client - facing IT infrastructures, ensuring robust technical support, timely fault
resolution, and seamless business operations. The successful candidate will pair strong hands - on
technical skills with excellent interpersonal communication.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Technical Support & Support Desk: Deliver 1st and 2nd line support for hardware, OS installations,
software applications, and network connectivity challenges.

Infrastructure & System Maintenance: Monitor internal client networks, perform preventative system

maintenance, and verify daily data backups and security protocols.

User & Hardware Provisioning: Assemble, configure, and deploy workstations, peripherals, email
accounts, and user access rights according to company standards.

Issue Resolution & Escalation: Efficiently troubleshoot technical issues under pressure, ensuring minimum
downtime and maintaining clear SLAs.

Client & Team Interaction: Communicate technical guidance effectively to non - technical users with high

professionalism and a service - oriented mindset.
