Live-In Position Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Hospitality General Manager for a luxury safari camp based in the Phalaborwa area. This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior hospitality professional with a strong background in luxury safari operations, guest experience, and team leadership. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the smooth and efficient operation of the camp, ensuring world-class service delivery, exceptional guest experiences, and consistently high operational standards across all departments. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a proactive and service-driven approach. Requirements: ✔ Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or similar qualification ✔ Extensive experience within luxury safari lodge or camp operations ✔ Previous senior management experience within a 4 or 5-star safari property ✔ Strong leadership and organisational skills ✔ Excellent financial and operational management ability ✔ Strong understanding of luxury hospitality service standards ✔ Proficiency in property management systems and Microsoft Office ✔ Exceptional communication and guest relations skills ✔ Ability to work under pressure in a remote environment ✔ Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence Key Responsibilities: • Oversee daily operations of the luxury safari camp • Lead and coordinate all hospitality departments for seamless guest experiences • Maintain world-class standards of service, presentation, and operations • Manage and mentor department heads and camp teams • Monitor guest feedback and implement service improvements • Oversee budgeting, cost control, financial performance, and stock management • Manage beverage, curio, and operational revenue targets • Ensure excellence across housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, and guest areas • Maintain compliance with health, safety, security, and company standards • Manage guest relations and handle special requests with discretion • Drive staff development, training, and performance management • Collaborate with senior management on operational strategy and improvements Package: • Salary: R30,000 – R35,000 depending on experience • Live-in position Please note that only suitable candidates will be contacted.
