Hospitality GM | Luxury Safari Camp | Phalaborwa Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Hospitality General Manager for a luxury safari camp based in the Phalaborwa area. This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior hospitality professional with a strong background in luxury safari operations, guest experience, and team leadership. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the smooth and efficient operation of the camp, ensuring world-class service delivery, exceptional guest experiences, and high operational standards across all departments. This role requires a proactive, hands-on leader with a passion for luxury hospitality and personalised service. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the luxury safari camp Lead and coordinate all hospitality departments to ensure seamless guest experiences Ensure the highest standards of service, presentation, and operational excellence Manage and mentor department heads and camp teams Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements where required Ensure effective stock control, budgeting, cost management, and financial performance Oversee beverage, curio, and operational revenue targets Maintain excellent standards across housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest areas Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and company standards Manage guest relations and handle special requests with professionalism and discretion Drive staff development, training, and performance management Work closely with senior management to implement operational strategies and improvements Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or similar qualification Extensive experience within luxury safari lodge or camp operations Previous senior management experience within a luxury 4 or 5-star safari property Strong leadership and organisational skills Excellent financial and operational management abilities Strong understanding of luxury hospitality service standards Proficient in property management systems and Microsoft Office Exceptional communication and guest relations skills Ability to work well under pressure in a remote environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence Package: Salary: R30,000 – R35,000 depending on experience Live-in position Candidates who meet the above requirements and are interested in applying for this exciting opportunity are invited to submit their CV for consideration.
