Duties:
Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue across spare parts, refurbishment, repair, and field services.
Achieve sales targets and ensure departmental profitability.
Identify new business opportunities within existing and potential customer accounts.
Formulate aftermarket sales strategies to enhance customer retention and generate recurring revenue.
Analyse market trends, customer spending patterns, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key mining and industrial clients.
Negotiate and manage Customer Supply Agreements.
Resolve customer complaints, commercial disputes, and service-related issues.
Uphold high standards of customer service across the department.
Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen partnerships and uncover new opportunities.
Lead and manage the Spares and Services team, developing performance metrics and KPIs.
Mentor, coach, and develop staff to foster a high-performing team.
Oversee departmental budgets, expenditure, and financial planning.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise operations.
Manage quotation processes, costing, order processing, and inventory management.
Maintain efficient part numbering systems and customer master data.
Support regional Sales Engineers with lifecycle costing and maintenance planning.
Collaborate on developing innovative aftermarket solutions.
Coordinate customer communication regarding spare parts and maintenance schedules.
Develop annual business plans and growth strategies.
Monitor profitability and margins, identifying operational efficiencies.
Requirements:
Proven leadership and management skills in a technical or industrial environment.
