Job Summary
Spares Sales Department Manager (Mining) – Krugersdorp
A well-established OEM in the mining and mineral processing sector is seeking an experienced Spares Sales Department Manager to join their team in Krugersdorp. This role reports directly to the Managing Director and is ideal for a commercially driven leader with strong technical and aftermarket experience.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead a cross-functional team across sourcing, warehousing, sales, and support
- Provide guidance and support to Sales Engineers across regions
- Drive performance, development, and alignment across departments
Customer & Sales Support
- Oversee costing, quoting, and order processing for spare parts and services
- Ensure efficient order fulfilment, delivery, and client communication
- Drive initiatives to minimise customer downtime and improve service delivery
Field Services Management
- Coordinate field service operations, including planning, resourcing, and logistics
- Ensure compliance with safety standards across all job sites
Operations & Process Improvement
- Manage and improve inventory, part numbering systems, and workflows
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Strategic & Commercial Support
- Support sales with lifecycle costing and maintenance planning
- Manage and negotiate long-term customer agreements
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 10+ years’ experience in the mining or mineral processing industry
- Strong exposure to crushing, screening, or similar processing equipment
- Experience in spare parts, aftermarket services, or supply chain management
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong commercial and customer-facing capability
- Advanced computer skills (Excel, reporting, systems)
- Afrikaans speaking (essential)
- Must reside in or near Krugersdorp (within 20km radius)
