What You'll Do:

• Provide expert advice and support for risk frameworks and policies

• Develop and coordinate comprehensive risk management programs

• Identify, assess, and report on key risks and controls

• Facilitate risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities

• Develop and recommend Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)

• Maintain and update risk management systems

• Investigate operational events and breakdowns

• Develop strategic responses to risk exposures

• Update and test business continuity plans

• Contribute to risk policies, strategies, and measurement methodologies

• Drive risk awareness and training initiatives

• Monitor emerging risks and industry trends

• Review business initiatives and proposals for risk implications

• Compile risk reports and ensure data integrity

• Prepare risk profile reports for stakeholders

• Ensure adherence to policies and standards

• Coordinate risk governance and reporting processes

• Develop assurance plans and conduct risk and process reviews

• Manage internal audit and assurance relationships

• Track and resolve audit findings and action plans

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in risk management or related fields

• Strong analytical skills

• Proficiency in C programming is advantageous

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with risk management software and tools

• Knowledge of South African regulatory standards
